My Favorite Children's book: Ira Sleep Over by Bernard Waber
I first heard this book being read when I was in first grade and I fell in love with it. The reason it was my favorite because it was the first book I took home and read to my parents. Now, I'm older every time I see this book I smile ear to ear. My children loves this book too.

I haven't heard of Ira Sleeps Over but after looking it up online, I think it is a fun story to read to children. I found a read-aloud on youtube.com and it is very sweet. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CufBSK-GiP8). I don't really remember having a favorite children's book when I was a child but I did enjoy being read to. Now that I am an adult I have quite a few favorite children's book. It's funny how that is. Children's literacy is one of my favorite aspects of early childhood that I hope to share and become more involved with.
